About

 Welcome to Delicious Life

Delicious Life is built around one simple idea:

Real food experiences should come from real visits.

I personally visit restaurants, street food stalls, local markets, convenience stores, and everyday dining spots across Korea, China, and other parts of Asia.

The food photos on this blog are taken by me during my own visits, and the reviews are based on what I actually ate and experienced. When I mention prices, flavors, textures, atmosphere, or how a dish is served, those details come from my own dining experience whenever possible.

The goal of Delicious Life is to document Asian food culture as it feels in real life — not just what a dish is called, but what it looks like, how it tastes, how much it costs, how people eat it, and what makes the experience memorable.

What You Will Find on Delicious Life

The content focuses mainly on:

Korean food culture

Chinese street food and local restaurants

Convenience store food

Everyday dining experiences

Regional specialties

Travel food experiences

Personal food reviews and impressions

Many articles include original photos taken during actual visits, along with practical explanations about ingredients, pricing, flavor, texture, and local food culture.

You may find everything from Korean raw beef dishes and soups to Chinese lamb skewers, night market food, convenience store snacks, noodles, barbecue, rice dishes, and everyday meals.

The purpose is always the same:

To share realistic food experiences that travelers and food lovers can actually use.

Firsthand Food Experiences

I believe food becomes more meaningful when it is connected to a real place and a real experience.

That is why Delicious Life focuses on firsthand visits rather than generic restaurant lists or automatically generated food rankings.

Every review and food story reflects my own perspective and personal taste. I may love a dish that someone else does not, and different restaurants may prepare the same food in very different ways.

For that reason, I try to make a clear distinction between general information about a dish and my own personal opinion.

When I write things such as “I liked this,” “the bowl I had,” or “this tasted fresher to me,” I am describing my own experience rather than presenting my preference as a universal fact.

Photos and Content

Unless otherwise stated, the food photos featured in my dining articles are photographs I personally took during the experience.

The written reviews are also based on meals and places I personally experienced.

For general information about ingredients, regional food culture, traditional dishes, or other factual subjects, I try to provide accurate context and avoid presenting uncertain information as fact.

My aim is to combine firsthand experience with useful background information without turning a simple food story into a generic encyclopedia entry.

Korea, China, and Asian Food Culture

A large part of Delicious Life focuses on Korea and China because both countries have incredibly diverse everyday food cultures.

Some dishes are internationally famous, while others are foods you are much more likely to discover in a local restaurant, traditional market, neighborhood street, or convenience store.

I want to introduce both.

That can mean something familiar like bibimbap or Korean barbecue, but it can also mean yukhoe bibimbap, regional soups, Chinese street food, local noodles, market snacks, or foods that travelers may walk past without knowing what they are.

Whenever possible, I also include the original Korean or Chinese name of a dish so readers can recognize it more easily when traveling.

A Personal Food Guide

Delicious Life is not intended to tell everyone what they must like.

Taste is personal.

Instead, I want to show you what I actually found, ordered, photographed, and ate, and then explain what stood out to me.

If you enjoy authentic Asian food, local restaurants, street food, everyday dining, and travel food experiences, I hope Delicious Life can help you discover something worth trying on your own journey.
